22 Week Belly

This is my 22 week belly. I feel her kicking and moving all the time, though she stops when others try to feel. Time is really starting to fly!

DJ Loves Frozen Strawberries

Just like Grace DJ loves frozen strawberries. I discovered this today while making Grace a smoothie. He saw the open bag and made a dive for it. He ate about 4 or 5 of them.

Look at that bulge in the check! He's enjoying every bite.

Trying to chew - with little luck. He sucked on it instead.

Yeah Mama, these are sooooo yummy!

Needless to say, he got a bath after this. It was much easier than trying to wipe him up with just a cloth. He didn't mind since baths are another favorite thing!!!

Snow Fun

Grace, DJ, and Daddy had fun playing out in the snow this afternoon.

Poor Bumpy is almost buried.

Daddy made a fort under the table.

Grace jumped off the swing into the huge pile of snow!

Ginngerbread cookies

Grace has been wanting to make gingerbread cookies, so we did yesterday during the snowstor. Instead of using cookie cutters, so designed them ourselves. We made several regular sized boys and girls.......

and one HUGE man.

Crayon Melting

If your house is like mine, you have a TON of broken and paperless crayons. I've wanted to try melting them for a while, but just haven't looked into it. Recently, I saw an article in a magazine about making heart shaped crayons. So, today Grace and I peeled a bag of miscellaneous crayons, made heart molds, and melted the crayons into hearts! It was surprising easy and fast!

To make the heart shapes we crumpled a small ball of foil and stuck it down one edge.

It was in the oven at 250 for about 25 minutes. Some of the non-Crayola crayons stayed whole, but it looked neat anyways.

I put them in the freezer to help them set faster. You can make ANY shape using foil.
