So Proud!

Grace had her awards ceremony for Sparks last night.  She was so excited!!!  She got a certificate and first book ribbon.

Can you tell she was just a tad excited?!?!?!!!

This is Grace’s vest.  The HangGlider patch on the right, signifies her first year in Awana Sparks.  The wings on the left, hold the jewels for finishing sections and club attendance.  Behind the wings, the green patch represents finishing her first book and the Sparkie pin on it, represents finishing her EXTRA CREDIT book.  Between the 2 books, Grace memorized close to 60 Bible verses this year!!!!

We like popcorn!

I know that little ones shouldn’t have popcorn till they are older because of the chocking hazard and of course I want my children safe!

When Grace was little, she didn’t have any till she was over 2 years old. 

DJ he was over 1 when he had his first taste and even then I would just give him little pieces.

Payten was 9 months when she had her first taste.  Like with DJ, I would give her small pieces without any of the “hard” stuff.  That worked well until the other day.  She peaked into the bowl I was getting the popcorn out of and practically dove in when she saw what was inside.  These pictures are after the initial carnage, and the bowl she has was the one she stole from DJ.  I wish I had video of her shoveling fistfuls into her mouth.  Maybe another time….

I did watch her closely to make sure she didn’t choke.  She was perfectly fine and went for person to person until she had gotten all that she could!!!
