40 Weeks!

So, here I am at 40 weeks. I am ready. I was hoping and praying to have this baby today, my dad's birthday. Technically I still have 9 hours and 37 minutes for that to happen. But if it doesn't I will be induced tomorrow. I have to be at the hospital at 6 am. I am not really looking forward to being induced, but I am looking forward to meeting my little girl. I am excited for Grace and DJ to see her for the first time. And to see who she looks like.

I am a little nervous as we will be at a different hospital this time. You know, once you've gotten used to something, change can be scary. BUT the nice thing is that the hospital is literally 2 minutes from our house. That will make visits for the kids so much easier. And Grace is thrilled that there are popsicles and little ice creams in the patient freezer - it's the little things you know...

So, next time you see me, the belly will (hopefully) be smaller and there will be a baby in my arms!

DJ Cleans

DJ loves to vacuum. So when he's fussy or grumpy or a little too clingy and I need to do something, like make dinner, I turn on the vacuum and give him the tool attachment. It keeps him busy for a good 20 minutes, AND my floor gets cleaner! He's actually very good at vacuuming - for a 17 month old!!!

39 Weeks!!!!

39 Weeks and boy do I feel like it.

Very uncomfortable today ...... When will she arrive????

It's difficult, but when he's getting in trouble........

by climbing into a kitchen chair and getting into Grace's stuff

you can't let him see you smile!!!!
